ART, CULTURE, MUSIC AND FOOD COLLIDE IN BLUFFTON
Blufftonians love a festival and the annual Historic Bluffton Arts & Seafood Festival presents the best of worlds combining a celebration of the arts visual, musical, historical with the legendary seafood provided by the waters of the South Carolina Lowcountry and prepared by cooks and chefs who know their way around some shrimp and hushpuppies. The weeklong affair kicks off on Saturday October 10, so grab some gear and join in the Inshore Fishing Tournament down at the Oyster company there is a $100 prize for the largest catch!

Fall is just down the road in the South Carolina’s Lowcountry, which means festival season is here in Bluffton, the charming historic village nestled on the banks of the May River. Every visit I make motivates me to slow down, take a look around and enjoy the beauty that surrounds us. While the view of the May River alone might be all you need – my advice this fall is to visit the Southern Living Idea House.
