Bluffton Independence Day 5K

Kick off the holiday with a community 5K, benefiting the Mayor's "Stay Safe, Bluffton!"
campaign and student scholarships that promote safe driving.

Race highlights:

• Professionally timed by the Palmetto Running Company.


• Winners receive the "Mayor's Cup," with names engraved and displayed at Town
  Hall.


• Open to all ages and skill levels. Strollers and leashed dogs welcome (top three dogs
  win prizes.)


• First 400 participants receive a commemorative race T-shirt.


• Packet Pickup: Tuesday, July 1, 4-7 p.m. at Oyster Factory Park, 55 Wharf St.


• Note: No race-day registration or registration during packet pickup.


• Deas-Guyz will perform a free concert from 6:30-8:30 p.m.


• Food, beer, and wine are available for purchase.
  
  Parking/Shuttle:
  Attendees must park at M.C. Riley Elementary School (200 Burnt Church Road) and use the
  free Palmetto Breeze shuttle (5:30-9:30 p.m.) to Oyster Factory Park. Paid parking is
  available at:


• First Zion Missionary Baptist Church (10 Robertson St.)


• Campbell Chapel AME Church (25 Boundary St.)
